Heat a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Sear the drumsticks on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and beer. Stir until well combined.
Pour the sauce over the seared drumsticks in the pan. Let the mixture come to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 45 minutes, basting the drumsticks occasionally with the sauce.
Once baked, transfer the pan back to the stovetop over medium heat. Let the sauce boil for about 5 minutes to thicken. If the sauce isn’t thickening to your liking, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to create a slurry, then stir it into the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Serve!
For extra flavor, marinate the drumsticks in the sauce for 1-2 hours before cooking.
Pair with steamed rice for a complete meal.
If you want to skip the beer you can! It will still be delicious
